HOW IT ALL STARTED: NOTE FROM THE LEAD PREACHER.
I was on my knees in prayers on August 20, 2016 in the Lekki area of Lagos Nigeria, when suddenly I fell into a trance and I saw a building walled with a see-through fence. The building had the typical appearance of how Churches are built today in Lagos Nigeria, which are a mixture of steel and glass while only the main frame would be reinforced concrete. On this fence I saw a moderate sized rectangular signboard with the inscription “Hear The Word”. I saw the complete design of the sign board. I came out of the trance as fast as I entered into it saying “Hear The Word Ministries”. It must be noted that I had not even asked The LORD for the name of the ministry at this time, neither had it even crossed my mind as something on the line of importance yet. I sketched the design as quickly as I could in my notebook and labeled the colors in which I saw them. What you see on our signboards today or on our websites or other name-projecting elements of this ministry is an exact effort to re-produce the signboard design I saw in the trance. Within 72 hours after this event, God took me to Luke 11:28, and I saw “…..Yea rather blessed are they that HEAR THE WORD of God, and keep it”. I knew this was where The Spirit of God was bearing witness to The Word of The LORD as written in the Holy Scriptures. This further proves that The Spirit of Faith and The Word of Faith would always bear record of each other – 1 John 5:7
Then on September 14, 2016 while in prayers again, the name – Faith Center dropped in my spirit having the following line of content laden with it – “That anywhere, any building this ministry gathers to preach The Word Of Faith shall be called Faith Center”.
Then on September 23, 2016 without my taking much knowledge of the name – Faith Center, I asked The Lord for the “aka” of this ministry. Then He referred me to Luke 11:28 again. This was a scripture He directed me to, after He showed me the vision of the name – Hear The Word.
“…..Yea rather BLESSED are they that HEAR THE WORD of God, and keep it”. He said to me “ ”interpret what the ”aka” “ should be. Being a man of little spiritual understanding, I mixed this scripture with Luke 19:46 “….My HOUSE is the house of prayer…” I knew it meant “House of the blessed”.
Therefore the spiritually-hewn name of this ministry is called HEAR THE WORD MINISTRIES (HTW-M) also known as FAITH CENTER MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL (FCMI), also known as HOUSE OF THE BLESSED (HoTB).
